To achieve the DEM Export, follow the instructions below:
- Login to Baan (any version/release) using the company # in which the DEM data are stored,
- Access the DEM module,
- Select the appropriate DEM "Version",
- Using the “Version Export” utility, enter the following ranges:
- Project Model: [select the model to export] (NOTE: if no specific Project Model is to be used to filter the export/import, unselect this option when performing the DEM Export)
- Business Process Diagrams: [full range]
- Business Control Diagrams: [full range]
- Roles: [full range]
- Employees: [full range]
- Work Instructions Text: [full range]
- Other DEM components: [full range]
Email the resulting compressed Export file to
Include in the email text the Baan version
implemented (IV / ERP-5 / LN / LX) and specific release/service pack. If a specific Reference/Project
Model (within your DEM Version) was used to create your
DEM model, specify which one is to be published.
Any DEM diagrams published with EZ-Publisher can also be enhanced with links to relevant documentation such as ISO instructions, training manuals, internal policies, etc… (in any formats). If you wish for a few of your documents to be related to your process diagrams, provide in your email a copy of your documents (max 1Mb per document) or your Intranet network URLs to retrieve them. Optionally, indicate where on your diagrams these links/documents should be attached.
Finally, DynaFlow also offers to personalize the EZ-Publisher Portal user interface to adapt your Intranet & Corporate styling. Optionally, provide in the Email elements such as company logo, background image, styling instructions (font, colors, …) etc .
Once received by DynaFlow labs, your model will be imported, web-converted and finally, hosted on a secure server. Your custom EZ-Publisher Portal URL will then be provided back to your organization to enable full view and navigation of your now web-enabled model.
Note 1:
All model content received is treated as confidential. The EZ-Publisher Portal
URL, that will be returned to you is supplied only to one primary contact
person of your organization. This person will then distribute this access URL to
appropriate members of your organization To secure even more your model
information, DynaFlow will add an additional access/security restriction. All
people visiting the supplied URL will have to provide a valid ID & Password to
view any part of your model.
Note 2:
Several hosting modes are available. Under the Trial Program, the model is
hosted free of charge for a period of two weeks, providing time for
product assessment. During this
period, we invite your organization to organize meetings and conference calls in
which the Process Portal viewing/navigation is available to local and remote
location employees/associates. For longer hosting period of your business model,
DynaFlow also offers ASP Hosting services.
